Allan is the he-recipes developer, contents creator and brand builder behind The Vegan Option.
When he is not busy with innovation and business, he is always looking for new recipes and new ways to create tasty dishes with a healthy twist. Growing up in an Afro-Italian family, Allan has always been surrounded by great food and learnt from great chefs (la Mamma and la Zia know best!)
Being also very passionate about keeping fit, he knows how essential the right food is for improving energy levels and shorten recovery periods. Since starting this journey, the difference in training and results has been incredible and keeps motivating him to create the best plant-based meals with an optimal combo of nutrients.
He is always looking for new inspiring plant-based products to add to his recipes and demonstrate how healthy food can still taste ridiculously delicious even without including animal products.

Claudia is the she-recipes developer, contents creator, food stylist and photographer behind The.Vegan.Option. When she is not travelling or running around with her camera, you can find her all over London, riding her bike from clinics to patients.
In fact, Claudia is also a passionate Physiotherapist, Pilates Instructor and Health & Nutrition Researcher. She graduated in Italy in 2006 with a BSc (Honours) in Physiotherapy and continued her studies in Belgium. After being awarded with a first class Master in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2008, she developed her professional career in top private clinics across London. Her huge interest in human movements and performance brought Claudia also to qualify as a Clinical Pilates Instructor and create her own method, which she has been passionately teaching in the UK over the past nine years.
Claudia has always had a great interest in sport, healthy and sustainable living and in food that pleases the eye as much as the palate. She always had a thing for helping and motivating people to look after themselves, respect their body and strive for the healthiest mental-physical balance. “After all, we all need to learn to take care of ourselves before being able to do the same with others. And, if we haven’t realised it yet, a lot in life is about caring ”.
When her love for nourishing food, health research and photography blended together things got seriously fun. Advocate of healthy eating and plant-based food since she can remember, Claudia decided to cut down most of the animal proteins from her diet just over two years ago. Although she has never liked to describe herself as a strict vegan, she loves following this lifestyle for several good reasons and inspiring people to eat mindfully, live healthily and celebrate life.
